Where is RakuCon held?

RakuCon takes place at the Pendulum Hotel & Conference Centre. The address of the venue is: Sackville St, Manchester M1 3BB

Where should I go when I arrive?

Please queue outside of the Pendulum Hotel forming a straight line down the pavement. Make sure to have your e-ticket or Eventbrite confirmation email ready to receive your wristband. You may print off your tickets/confirmation email as well. Once you have received your wristband you may enter or exit the convention whenever you like. Please do not remove the wristband for the duration you are attending.

If you’d like to save time you may also register and collect your wristband on the 16th August 2024 from 12:00pm till 13:30pm. Just enter Pendulum Hotel via the main entrance and ask a member of staff that you’d like to collect your wristband. If you collect your wristband on the 16th you will not need to queue in the morning on the Saturday/Sunday, just show your wristband to staff and you will be allowed in.

If multiple attendees show up at the same time to register on the Friday you may be asked to queue.

All RakuCon members of staff will be wearing a pink lanyard.

Where would you recommend for accommodation?

RakuCon takes place right at hotel Pendulum Hotel, so we recommend staying at the hotel itself so you’re as close to the convention as possible. You can find more details about Pendulum Hotel on their website: https://www.pendulumhotel.co.uk/

Where can I park?

The closest car park is located 2 minutes walk away; Charles St, Manchester M1 7AR

Prices for the car park are as followed:

  • Up to 1 Hour £2.00

  • Up to 2 Hours £4.00

  • Up to 3 Hours £6.00

  • Up to 5 Hours £7.00

  • Up to 6 Hours £8.00

  • Up to 8 Hours £9.00

  • Up to 10 Hours £10.00

  • Up to 24 Hours £15.00

What time does RakuCon Manchester open and close?

  • Saturday: 10am - 6pm 

  • Sunday: 12pm - 5pm

Where do I get my tickets?

An announcement will be made across our social platforms as soon as tickets are available for RakuCon Manchester 2024

Where do I pick up my entry wristband for the event?

You’ll be able to pick up your entry wristband at the RakuCon help desk outside of the Pendulum Suite. The desk will be located near the entrance of the venue and signage will be available to help find the desk.

Can I transfer or exchange my ticket?

Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred or exchanged.

I have purchased a ticket and I am no longer able to make it to the convention, what should I do?

If you have purchased a ticket and are unable to make it to the convention please do contact us at info@rakuevents.com and we’ll be more than happy to help!

Are tickets available to purchase at the door?

Yes, depending on availability. The best way of securing your ticket is by purchasing online.

Where can I find lost items?

Over the weekend lost items will be safely stored at the RakuCon help desk, so if you have lost something then do pop over to us at the help desk to see if we have your missing item. If you realise you have something missing after the event is taken place please email us at info@rakuevents.com

Does RakuCon Manchester have disability access?

Our event is fully accessible with many easy to access lifts and ramps. If you have any special requirements please contact us at info@rakuevents.com

Are there tickets for carers?

Absolutely! We offer free tickets for all carers and are entitled to free entry with their one to one care. You will need to contact us at info@rakuevents.com to obtain your ticket and provide us with the following evidence: 

  • Credability's Access Card

  • Recognised Assistance Dog ID card

  • Front page of DLA / PIP (no specific rate)

  • Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate)

  • Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)

What are the rules for weapon props?

Real weapons are strictly prohibited at RakuCon. Please make sure your prop is no longer than 1.5 meters and if carrying them through public please conceal the prop to not cause alarm to the general public. Please make sure your weapon is made of either wood, soft materials or resin and is not a realistic imitation. 

Am I allowed to take photographs and videos?

Absolutely! We’re more than happy for you to take as many photos and videos as you like. However if you’re taking a photo of someone please ask them first and if they so no please respect their wishes.

We’ll make an announcement across our social platforms when the dealer application form goes live.
